Job Description
About the role
We have a casual opportunity for a Transport Operator to join our team at our Casino branch, working full-time hours for an 8-week period.
In this role, you will play a key part in the timely and accurate delivery of product to customers. You will work closely with the Production and Administration teams to support daily transport operations, align with production schedules, and uphold Riverina’s standards for safety, quality, and customer service.
Your key responsibilities:
Safely transport and deliver store and customer orders.
Ensure all loads are secured correctly and delivered in excellent condition.
Complete all required delivery documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers, employees, and stakeholders.
Conduct pre-start and post-trip vehicle checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
Adhere to Fatigue Management and NHVL guidelines
Desired Skills and Experience
Our Ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum HR licence (HC preferred).
The ability to pass random drug and alcohol testing.
A clean driving record.
A great attitude to customer service.
Experience in multi drop distribution.
The ability to work unsupervised.
