Job Description
About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Mill Worker to join our Oakey production team.
This is an opportunity to build a career within the agricultural industry, working alongside experienced operators to produce high-quality animal feed products that support Australian farmers and producers.
As a Mill Worker, you will gain exposure across different areas of our mill operations, including production, premix, hand tipping, process control, equipment operation and quality assurance activities.
Whether you have previous manufacturing experience or are looking to develop new skills, we are looking for people who are committed, willing to learn and take pride in their work.

What you’ll be doing
As part of our production team, you will play an important role in safely operating our feed manufacturing processes and producing quality products for our customers.
You will:
Operate, monitor and maintain mill equipment to produce high-quality animal feed products safely and efficiently
Develop your skills across multiple areas of our mill operations, including:
Batching and premix operations
Raw material handling
Process control systems
Finished product handling
Equipment operation and care
Support production processes to achieve quality standards and production targets
Complete quality checks to ensure products meet Riverina’s standards
Identify and communicate any production, safety or quality issues promptly
Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve safety, efficiency and the way we operate
Follow operating procedures, safety requirements and quality standards
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient production environment
Work collaboratively with your teammates to achieve daily production goals and support a positive team culture

Please note: This position is a shift-based role requiring flexibility to work day, afternoon and night shifts as required. While the standard roster operates Monday to Friday, occasional weekend and public holiday work may be required to support operational requirements.
